Pam Funke's "The Rise of Nicolaitanes" by Erik Nelson

"War is Hell." "Violence never solves anything." "There are no winners in war, only losers." These popular sayings about war are true (at least from my point of view) but according to some of the characters in Pam Funke's book "Operation Dark Angel", they would disagree and even go as far as to saying that war helps downsize terrorism or that more war equals world peace. Unfortunately, many of the people in Government agree with those characters. Ok before I get too political here, let me get back to the real subject here; Pam Funke's real yet entertaining book. Nicolaitanes Balac who is gaining a huge following in the field of politics has brought General Alexander Ludlow to his side in hopes that they together will bring world peace. This becomes the birth of their operation called; "Operation Dark Angel" which is basically the myth of more war equals world peace. After the operation becomes official, not only do the soldiers suffer the consequences but many countries do as well. As war more occurs and the suffrage spreads throughout the world, Balac and Ludlow realize that their vision doesn't balance with realism or are they too ignorant to accept failure? For those who have been paying attention over the past fifteen years to America's national security, I highly recommend this book for your entertainment because although many of the themes are real, it's also an entertaining book and we all need some entertainment to help clear our minds. For the people who haven't been paying attention to the fact that our military has been acting like the world's policemen, I highly recommend this book not just for your entertainment but so that you can also be introduced to many key factors about what more war actually equates to. As I said before, not only does Pam Funke write about many of the factors and myths about war, she also provides us with a great entertaining story in the center of all the factual chaos. There are also many religious overtones in the book. This raises another question about religion; does religion do more harm than good in the world? Well, to answer this question, you need to remember something; one of the many causes of war is religion. Where one religion doesn't like another one. So Many Books...So Little Time For Anything Other Than Reading

My author sure has been very busy lately. It's hard to believe there's three books out already about what's going on in my life. Perhaps one of them explains why I'm being hunted down like a dog. If when you're reading you figure it out, by all means please tell me. I would definitely like to know. Especially since I have no recollection of what happened. I don't even know why I even know the man. He's not my type!

In The Rise of Nicolaitanes, you'll discover a little history behind Nicolaitanes Balac. You may even be surprised to find out where he comes from. I know I was which is saying a lot because I was there. You should really go and grab a copy so you can become acquainted with my story. People, you can buy a copy of the first book for FREE! Isn't that amazing?

A mysterious voice tells General Ludlow about a military operation that will bring an end to the world's evil. Nicolaitanes Balac is given political power beyond what anyone has ever been entrusted with before. Who is the voice? Is this the type of power that should be given to a single man? What role will Nicolaitanes play in ending the world's chaos? Will mankind be able to withstand the growing evil spreading across the globe? Will Operation Dark Angel succeed?

In The World at War, this book is really kind of scary. At least to me it is. So much turmoil happens as the world plunges head first in the World War III. I know you probably think things are pretty bad right now with the little wars here but this is so much worse! Close your eyes and picture being in a war zone for a minor war contained in a little area. Okay. Now open your eyes to what you just pictured and multiply it times ten. Now do you get the idea? It's pretty horrible right now.

The world is in complete chaos as major nations wage war against each other forcing mankind to take sides. The entire world is watching Nicolaitanes Balac and his continuing rise to global power. Will he be the one to save the world? Is this who we should rely on for help or will this be the worst mistake that mankind has ever made?

And last but not least is the final book written so far, World Deception. This is what's currently going on around me. The world is being deceived and people are falling for it, but not me.

Mysterious attacks on Israel have caused the world to take sides as WWIII wreaks havoc on the earth. One-fourth of the earth's population has disappeared while another fourth has been slaughtered. The UWR (United World Religion) is steadily gaining power with the help of Nicolaitanes Balac. Who will come to save the people of the world?

Horrible right? By now, I bet you're intrigued as to what is going on in my life. I know I am. I cannot wait for the next part of the series to come out. I never know what it is that I'm going to go through until the book comes out. Funny right? Well, go on and check out the  The Apocalypse series! I guarantee you won't be bored. See you around.

The Stranger

"Hello. My name is Eudora.  Yes, I am a turkey vulture.  Boy, do I have a story to tell you."
Once upon a time in the kingdom of Malari, there was a beautiful princess named Keniah. She loved to perch at the castle's walls and look out over the kingdom. One brisk morning as she sat looking over her nightly kingdom, she noticed something different. There was a new bird in town. This bird was nothing like any of the others. His plumage was colorful. He had feathers of purple, gold, turquoise, and white. How did he get like that? Did he fall into one of the human's chemical pools on the westside? I pray not.
She opened her magnificent wings and glided down to where the stranger sat. She walked around him checking him out.
    "Who are you?"  she asked.
"My name is Tremont.  Who might you be?" he replied with a smile.
"How did your feathers get like that? You are a turkey vulture like us, are you not?"
He clicked his beak together a couple of times then walked into her personal space.
"Though I am like you, I am also unique. You see my father was a turkey vulture,  my mother was a peacock. You would think this wouldn't normally happen but it did. I'm living proof. Does it matter what I am?"
His head bobbed back and forth as he spoke. A shadow flew over them and they both looked up. A flock of storks flew overhead heading to only God knew where.  He looked over to her but she was gone. Where did she go? He looked all around but did not see her anywhere. Guess I blew it. Sadly, he turned to walk away.
Keniah walked inside of the palace thinking.  He was certainly a mighty fine looking bird. The sound of ruffled wings grabbed her attention and she hurried to the throne room.
"Why do you do these things, sire? I  can't stand your whining!" Loki the paige stated.
"Do not speak to your King in that manner!" King Rion bellowed.
    "My apologies, sire."
    "Be off with ye, Loki."
Though he was hopping mad, Loki did as he was told and turned to leave. He nearly bumped into Princess Keniah.
"Father, is everything alright?" she asked bowing before him.
"What do you want daughter? I am busy."
She looked up at him sadly. Feeling a little guilty for taking his anger out on her, he softened the look on his face.
    '"I'm sorry daughter."
She sighed, "I saw a stranger in the kingdom this morning."
"And what of the stranger interests you?"
"I don't think he is a vulture at all."
    "Why do you say that?"
"Well, his feathers are not like ours. They are very colorful while ours are shades of black. He says his mother is not one of us."
    "I see."
He brought his wing up to his face and rubbed his beak.
"What do you wish for me to do?"
"Nothing Father. I can handle it alone."
    "Yes, now go."
She turned to leave the room.
"Father, you didn't tell me what's going on between you and Loki."
"Don't you worry your little head about it."
She shook her head as she left the room. She wondered why her father refused to let her help him. She went to her room and laid down. Yawning, she decided to take a nap.
A strange bird climbed through the open window of the princess's room. He looked around carefully. He then covered her beak and flew them both out of the window. She didn't even resisted as she was in a deep sleep. This was too easy. He looked back at the palace but no one was persuing him.

Watch for the next part of the story next week!
