Pam Funke's "Operation Dark Angel" by Erik Nelson

"War is Hell." "Violence never solves anything." "There are no winners in war, only losers." These popular sayings about war are true (at least from my point of view) but according to some of the characters in Pam Funke's book "Operation Dark Angel", they would disagree and even go as far as to saying that war helps downsize terrorism or that more war equals world peace. Unfortunately, many of the people in Government agree with those characters. Ok before I get too political here, let me get back to the real subject here; Pam Funke's real yet entertaining book. Nicolaitanes Balac who is gaining a huge following in the field of politics has brought General Alexander Ludlow to his side in hopes that they together will bring world peace. This becomes the birth of their operation called; "Operation Dark Angel" which is basically the myth of more war equals world peace. After the operation becomes official, not only do the soldiers suffer the consequences but many countries do as well. As war more occurs and the suffrage spreads throughout the world, Balac and Ludlow realize that their vision doesn't balance with realism or are they too ignorant to accept failure? For those who have been paying attention over the past fifteen years to America's national security, I highly recommend this book for your entertainment because although many of the themes are real, it's also an entertaining book and we all need some entertainment to help clear our minds. For the people who haven't been paying attention to the fact that our military has been acting like the world's policemen, I highly recommend this book not just for your entertainment but so that you can also be introduced to many key factors about what more war actually equates to. As I said before, not only does Pam Funke write about many of the factors and myths about war, she also provides us with a great entertaining story in the center of all the factual chaos. There are also many religious overtones in the book. This raises another question about religion; does religion do more harm than good in the world? Well, to answer this question, you need to remember something; one of the many causes of war is religion. Where one religion doesn't like another one. The Salikhin-Riyadus Reconnaissance was meeting for the first time in years with their counterparts in the United States. They had been watching the state of the United States over the past few years and were pleased with the steady decline in their Christian beliefs. For a country built on God, they certainly don’t behave like it. They are a country of chaos and violence. They have such sinful natures it’s unbelievable. Their society accepts abortions, living together without being married, homosexuality, the same sex to marry one another, the practicing of ungodly religions, fornication, all sorts of sexual immorality and various types of ungodly behavior. Allah would never stand for such behavior which is why we must do this. We must rid the world of these Christians and their damaging beliefs. We cannot allow them to poison the world’s minds any longer. Polla Basayev stood before the group gathering her thoughts before addressing them. This was a first for her. Women had never had the privilege of addressing the men before. In fact, they hadn’t had much say in anything. They weren’t even allowed to participate, though the group did not care if they were martyred for Allah. She never really understood that, but she was glad that things had changed. She looked out at the people waiting patiently for her to speak. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before she began.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the United States has been sticking its nose into matters that do not concern them for far too long. They say that we are the terrorists, but they are the ones who have invaded our lands. They are the ones who kill our fathers, our mothers, our brothers, our sisters, our children, our families. They provide weaponry and aide to our enemies. They disrespect our Islamic faith. They seek to corrupt the Muslim people with their beliefs and their wicked ways. We can no longer tolerate this behavior!” She pounded her fists on the table in front of her. She looked around the room trying to gauge what the people were thinking. It was hard to tell though she could feel their excitement.

“It is time that we stand up for our slain brothers and sisters. We cannot allow their deaths to mean nothing. They must pay for the evil that they have done.” She could feel her heart pounding in her ears. She was getting angrier by the minute; she could feel it. She couldn’t wait to see them pay dearly for what they had done. Tears threatened to form in her eyes, but she willed them away. She started to pace back and forth across the front of the room.

“We have been watching the Big Satan for the past few years and we feel that they are at their most vulnerable state right now. They have scattered their military all over the world trying to be the world’s policemen. They have neglected to keep their home protected and that is where we are going to strike them—at home. My American counterparts, you have done a wonderful job of infiltrating the enemy’s camp and blending in. You are going to initiate a series of attacks with the help of the home unit. When we are done, they will never know what hit them. Now, who’s with me?”

A roar of cheers sounded as people stood up and cheered her on. Despite the various sects, they were united under one purpose—the destruction of the United States.

Sneak Peek

Okay everyone, here's the sneak peek at my children's book that I'm working on.

God created the heavens and the earth. He created all of the plants, animals and birds of the air. He created man. When God was finished He looked at all that He had created and saw that it was good.

Working On Some New Things.....

I am currently working on four projects. Yes, I know. I should probably do one thing at a time, but it is so hard to do so when God keeps filling my head with all these awesome ideas! I am currently working on two novels, a children's book and a devotional. I have yet to create a book cover for my children's book. I'm still thinking about it I will give you a sneak peek as soon as I am finished with it. . But, here's a sneak peek at the covers and book blurbs for the others.

The people have allowed the government to remove Him from our schools, our jobs and are trying to remove Him from our churches. Many have chosen to remove Him even from their homes. Why is this happening to us they ask as they helplessly watch the nation's wickedness increase? How much longer will God allow us to continue in our sinful ways? Will He destroy us as He did Sodom?

God said that if His angels can find 5,000 righteous in our nation that He will spare us. When His angels walk our nation will they find even 50 righteous? Will there be enough righteous found to spare our great nation?

Why Do I Write Christian Novels?

Why did I choose Christian novels? Well, mainly because there are hardly any Christian novels out there anymore and the books that are filling the shelves and homes of adults, young adults, teens and children are not feeding their minds or souls with positive things. Now mind you there are some very good non-Christian novels out there that instill a positive message.There has to be something in a good book that not only feeds the mind with positive values and teaches the reader how to improve their life and give them some hope, then what's the point? A good book should have a lesson in it that someone can learn something valuable from it and not just an escape away from their problems in the real world~ because when the story is over the real world is still there and so are their problems. They should be able to come out of that story with something positive that they can use to help them in the real world.
